“Komuniboli village, East Guadalcanal. Manengelea started us, then we were twelve. And through all the smoke and drink, the walking talk, the making think. Tutuvaolu is the house. Tutuvaolu is the house. Peanuts beans and coconut, growing wild and true. Just like the truth, the fruit of youth tastes sweetest when the taste is you. And through all the pain and fear, the fighting stopped and led us here. Tutuvaolu, rebuild the house. Tutuvaolu, rebuild the house. Mahitahi Christina Aotearoa, New Zealand.
